Mylot is very much careful and concerned about the integrity and Quality of the website. So naturally there are many guidelines you should get familiarized with.
I have copied every guidelines here and explained it thoroughly. The sentences starting with '*' is from the mylot Rule book, and the sentences with '-' are my explanations.

- You will get them as Alerts- so don't delete them- read them carefully.
*Help us out and report trolls, flame wars, and troublemakers by sending an abuse report to myLot.
- You have to keep your eyes open for people who use abusive language, etc and if you come across one, you will have to click the '!' next to the particular content.
*Help out when you can. The myLot staff tries to monitor the site constantly, but we also need your eyes and ears to catch problems when they arise and report abusive behavior.

*Be sure to rate users’ discussions, responses, comments, and photos for the new myLot reputation system. The myLot reputation rating is decided by myLot users.
-You can see a '+' or '-' next to every activity. Please donot rate others negative because they have a different idea from you. Only rate negative if the response doesn't fit into the expectations or it is used as a means of bringing shame.
*Make sure you search for existing topics before starting new discussions.
- Same discussions started by other users are not to copied. If done, it will not be rewarded and eventually be deleted.
*Please make sure you give your best effort to respond with quality responses. If you don’t know how to respond to a discussion, go on to the next one. Answers like “I don’t know” or “I don’t care” don’t help anyone and will be removed.
-Self explanatory sentence.
*Make sure to post useful links in discussions when necessary to provide authoritative guidance or to refer to a third party article.
-Please DO NOT include referral links as this is a serious violation of rules.
*Please use myLot messages to chat back and forth with your myLot friends. Make plans for the weekend, schedule a time to meet for fun, or just talk about what happened today at work! If you would like to know more about a certain myLot member, request them as a friend.
-One of the most remarkable scheme of mylot is the messaging. Use it well.
*Make sure you ask for clarifications on discussion topics or responses when necessary or help other users to get their point across if they are not able. We like to think of ourselves as one big happy family.
-Integrity is a very important factor. Do not use abusive language while communication.
*Feel free to contact us if you would like to advertise on myLot.

*Please let the myLot staff know if you are having any issues, by sending us a private message.
-Sending a private message to mylot admin is the best method to ask for clarifications. They are very fast in responding to.
*Feel free to express your happiness with the myLot community. We love hearing how much you like myLot.

Now for the DON'Ts
*Create more than one myLot account per person. Creating multiple accounts is grounds for immediate account cancellation and forfeiture of all earnings.
-There is nothing more terrible than doing this. They do track multiple accounts and catch hold of wrong doers easily. And for the happy nes: You don't need any. Because, this is not a PTC, and payment is given in terms of quality of the work and not quantity.
*Share PayPal accounts. Please use only one PayPal account per myLot account.

*Post comments in threads for the purpose of drawing attention to another thread on a different subject.
-We must not deviate from the topic of a discussion.
*Make multiple posts on the same subject for the purpose of getting attention paid to your issue.
-If you make it, it wil be deleted. Usually only one of them will be deleted. They always let one remain active.
*Post the same response to different discussions even if the discussions are related or similar. This type of activity will more than likely harm your reputation rating.
- Reputation and myLot ratings have been discssed in detail in my Begginer's Guide post. Check there.
*Post copyrighted articles or photos please link to them. DON’T post copyrighted photos at all.

*Respond to a discussion until you've read all of the responses.
- People have a tendency to read all the responses before responding. This can't be tracked by the admin, but it is a bad manner to do so.
*Post "Me Too!" messages; add something of substance to the conversation.

*Start a new discussion unless you have something of substance to say.
-No explanations, right?
*Start discussions asking for one word answers like “Yes or No”.
-This will be immediately reported and deleted.
Discussions like 'Do you drink coffee' will be deleted. But discussions like 'Why do you drink coffee' won't be deleted. Sometimes it can get many responses too.
*Thank everyone that responds or comments on your discussion. This will not increase your earnings.
-Donot use the word 'thank you'. Comments including that word won't be eligible for payment. Do use other words like 'my best regards',etc.
*Start meaningless discussions or give meaningless responses to try and boost your rating. Discussions like “What’s your age” will be deleted as well as short responses like “ok” or “no”.
-No explanations, right?
*Post jokes, recipes, etc. as discussions. This is a form of abuse and all recipes and jokes will be deleted if they are started as a discussion.
-No explanations, right? Also don't start riddles with only one answer!
*Start game and poll type discussions. For example, discussions like “How old are you” or “Let’s see how high we can count, I’ll start with one”.
-No explanations, right?
*Post any links promoting other affiliate programs or that do not pertain to the discussion. Posting the same link over and over or posting links that have no relevance to the discussion is not allowed.
-No explanations, right? No referral links allowed.
*Post discussions directed at one person such as “user1 what did you do today?” or “user2 where are you?”
-The discussions are made to be generalized to the category in which you start them.
*Post discussions soliciting a response for a response for example “+” rating for a response. These are against our terms and will be deleted.

*Post to “flame” other users! Being mean to others is just not fun. Anything derogatory that is directed at a myLot user is strictly prohibited. Just be nice and have fun!

*Request donations, post charity requests, petitions for signatures, chain letters or letters relating to pyramid schemes, advertising or solicitations for funds, or mass mailings.
-No explanations, right?
*Post for commercial or advertising purposes, including classified ads in the discussion area.
-Very heinous crime in mylot!
*Post anything that discloses your personal information or others' personal information. We do not disclose it to anyone for good reason.

*Post similar or identical postings. Stealing posts from other users or posting the same thing over and over again will not help your myLot earnings. Multiple identical postings, even if legitimate, may be considered spam.

*Post symbols or languages other than English unless you are asking how to translate a word or a phrase.

*Start discussions on individual issues you are having with myLot. Please contact myLot via private messages and your issue will be addressed.
-If you start a discssion, it will be deleted.
*Post discussions, responses or comments criticizing members for bad/broken English or bad spelling. Everyone is welcome at myLot, we have users from all around the world and they are welcome regardless of their proficiency with the English Language.
-No explanations, right? Just be in you best manners.
*Use all-caps or excessive punctuation.
-Also don't use all 'bolds' or all italics. They had not mentioned it here. But you know it won't won't be tolerated.
*Post anything that inaccurately explains the myLot earnings algorithm. Our myLot mathematicians have worked long and hard on our elaborate payment system and we wouldn’t want any of our users to make them feel inadequate by breaking their algorithm in minutes.

*Start discussions promoting a milestone, such as birthdays, anniversaries, reaching a certain myLot rating, etc. This is best celebrated via private messaging with your myLot friends.

MyLot photo Guidelines:DOs*Please take any warnings you get from the myLot staff seriously.
*Help us out and report inappropriate photos by sending a private message to myLot with a copy of the URL or image number.
*Help out when you can. The myLot staff tries to monitor the site constantly, but we also need your eyes and ears to catch problems when they arise and report abusive behavior.
*Make sure the photo you are posting is relevant to the discussion. You will not earn if the photo does not relate to the topic of the discussion.
*Please upload your personal photos to your profile and not in discussions on myLot.
*Make sure you have permission to upload any photos you are using on myLot.
Now for the DON'Ts*When responding to a discussion, post photos that do not relate to the discussions topic.
*Post the same photo multiple times. You only need to post the photo once to gain your earnings for that photo.
*Post copyrighted photos. You are putting yourself at risk for legal action if you post photos that you do not have the rights to.
*Do not start discussion asking users to post photos. For example, discussions like “Post your photos here and the best photo gets a best Response!” or anything with similar motive.
*Post photos for commercial or advertising purposes, including classified ads in the discussion area or on your profile page.
*Post photos that are obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, abusive, or inflammatory. These types of photos are not allowed in any of the sections of myLot.
*Post photos that exploit, solicit, or endanger minors.
*Post photos that are violent, racist.
